A World Better Designed

I was invited by the University of Portsmouth to give an online mini-lecture addressing the question of: ‘How can Graphic Design make the world a better place?’. We analysed real-world designs — highlighting the various impacts and potential for innovation, whilst reflecting on our responsibility as designers to consider the consequences of our solutions.

I encouraged students to reflect on the emotional & physical impacts of design — drawing upon methodologies such as semiotics, human factors & ergonomics to create a succinct analysis of their effectiveness.

“What a pleasure to share my insights & experience with the next generation of designers.”
