Printing the Counter-Culture
Hosted in collaboration with Arts University Bournemouth’s Subject Librarian, Suzanna Hall & MA Illustration Programme Leader, Mark Pavey — this interactive lecture & print exhibition exposed BA (Hons) Communication Design & Strategy students’ to the 60’s & 70’s Counter-Culture across Pop Art & Psychedelia Magazines.

AUB Library's Special Collections contain some rare countercultural and underground publications, from the UK & USA; gathered for this mini-exhibition, charting how magazines were a tool for artists, designers & poets throughout the 1960’s & 70’s.
